St. Lawrence County residents will cast votes Nov. 5 in several regional races including the hotly contested district attorney’s race as well as a three-way race for two coroner seats.

Voters will also select two state Supreme Court justices and, in the Canton area, elect a county legislator.

In the race for district attorney, incumbent Democrat Nicole Duve faces Republican challenger Mary Rain.

For county coroner, incumbent Republican June H. Wood will attempt to keep her position as she faces a challenge from newcomers Kevin J. Crosby, a Republican, and Democrat Eric Warner. Voters can vote for two candidates.

Three candidates are competing for two positions as state Supreme Court Justice including Democrat Mark L. Powers, and Republicans Thomas D. Nolan, and Stan L. Pritzker.

In the race for county legislator in District 9 in the Canton area, incumbent Stephen M. Putman will be opposed by William Fobare.

General election will be held Nov. 5 from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
