POTSDAM -- The Village of Potsdam held acomprehensive plan meeting Wednesday night in the Civic Center board room.
These plans serve a variety of purposes, including providing clear priorities for staff work and planning, and for grant applications.
Members of the committee include Mayor Steve Yurgartis as chair, Town Supervisor Marie Regan, Matilda Larsen of the county Planning Office, and David Trithart, Peter Brouwer, Edward Komara, Joseph Gallagher, Robert Josephson, Edward Mucenski, James Sheehan, David Acker, Karen Collins, Sallie Amerando, and Marilee Ballou.
Staff for the committee are from the village's Planning and Development Office, Director Fred Hanss and Administrative Assistant Cindy Vivlamore.
A web site has been set up at http://sites.google.com/site/potsdamcompplan/, which contains documents being used in tonight's meeting and general working documents.
All committee meetings are open to the public, and public comments are welcome.
