POTSDAM -- The village Board of Trustees appointed Steve Warr as deputy mayor and made other appointments at their annual meeting Dec. 4.
They included the mayor’s appointments of Village Clerk/Treasurer Lori S. Queor, and Village Registrar Maureen E. Gaffney for two more years each through Dec. 2, 2019.
Other appointments for one year, through Dec. 3, 2018, included:
• Maureen E. Gaffney as Deputy Village Clerk
• Christine A. Travis as Deputy Village Registrar
• selection of the village administrator, village clerk/treasurer, and tax collector as members of the Sexual Harassment Committee.
Meeting dates of the village Board of Trustees for 2018, subject to change, are at 7 p.m. in the Civic Center Board Room on Jan. 8 and 22, Feb. 5 and 20, March 5 and 19, April 2 and 16, May 21, June 18, July 16, Aug. 20, Sept. 4 and 17, Oct. 1 and 15, Nov. 5 and 19, Dec. 3 and 17.
The board set the vehicle usage allowance for village officials and employees in 2018 at 50¢ per mile for use of personal vehicles in the performance of official village duties.
