MASSENA -- The Massena village board has voted to spend $16,345.50 to upgrade its accounting software.
“It was highly recommended by [accountant Carl Seyfarth] that we do this," Mayor James Hidy said, adding that the money was written into the 2013 budget.
The new program, Financial Edge, is an upgraded version of Fundware, which will no longer be sold or serviced.
