HERMON – The Village of Hermon is eyeing a dissolution study.
At its Feb. 11 meeting the village board agreed to contract with the Development Authority of the North Country for assistance in obtaining grants to fund a study.
According to the village clerk, Hermon trustees are simply looking for funding at this time and have not committed to a study yet.
DANC will consider the deal Feb. 27 to assist the Village of Hermon at a price not to exceed $7,000.
According to the clerk, DANC would be assisting the village with the application process.
