CANTON -- The village board is forming a committee to look at ways to draft a new ethics code.
Village trustee Sean O’Brien agreed at the village board meeting July 17 to serve on the committee.
The mayor and trustees will be looking for members of the general community to serve on the committee as well.
The board would like to enlist at least two more community volunteers to serve with the group.
Interested parties can contact the village clerk’s office, 315 396-2851, ext. 1, or any of the village board members to express interest.
