POTSDAM -- A video of a Potsdam couple imitating a scene from the movie “Dirty Dancing” has been viewed nearly three million times on Facebook.
In a video posted on a page titled “Scottish Memes and Banter,” Wes and Maria Matthie re-enact a scene from the movie where Patrick Swayze gives Jennifer Gray a dance lesson while the song “Hungry Eyes” by Eric Carmen plays.
As of 6:30 a.m. Monday, the video had been viewed over 6.5 million times. It has been “liked” 25,657 times, garnered 43.697 comments and been shared 117,508 times.
