CANTON -- The Canton VFW has issued a $500 reward for information leading to an arrest of the vandals who damaged headstones at St. Mary's Cemetery.
St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies said more than 35 gravestones were damaged on Oct. 27, the weekend that preceded Halloween.
Deputies said the vandals also destroyed flower planters and damaged Veterans' American Flags.
