CANTON – Local government officials and others are invited to a session explaining U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development funds for projects and programs in rural areas such as St. Lawrence County.
The USDA St. Lawrence County Municipal Roundtable will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. today in the second-floor conference room in the county Human Services Complex, 80 State Rt. 310.
Representatives of the county Planning Office and USDA will explain funding available to local governments in rural areas.
They will speak about the programs that are available, their timelines, project eligibility, and how to get technical assistance in preparing an application.
