Area law enforcement agencies will be collecting unwanted, unused prescription drugs in several St. Lawrence County locations Saturday, Sept. 29.during the “Nation Take Back Initiative.”
Residents can take those drugs to:
• Massena Police Department, Town Hall, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Kinney Drugs, 48 Maple St., Potsdam, sponsored by the Potsdam Police Department
• The St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, 48 Court St., Canton
• The Tribal Police Department, 545 State Rt. 37, Hogansburg.
These organizations are participating so people may safely and legally dispose of them without adding them to landfills.

The Massena Police Department also has a permanent drop box in their lobby for dropping off unwanted, unused prescription drugs anytime.
