High pressure over the North Country will keep wet weather at bay at least through Tuesday night, when there is a 60 percent chance that rain and snow will move in and continue Wednesday.

That will pretty much set the pattern for the rest of the week, as the probability of some kind of precipitation remains at 50 percent or better from Thursday through Friday night, according to the National Weather Service.

Temps will dip into the teens tonight, and then resume the warmer-than-usual trend for the rest of this week, reaching into the 40s during the day on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and not getting much below 30 degrees until Friday night, when it's expected to get down into the 20s along with a chance of snow.

For the weekend, it looks as though it will be cooler and drier.
