OGDENSBURG -- The Society of the United Helpers is seeking scholarship applications from graduating seniors in St. Lawrence County that are pursuing higher education in the health care fields of nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and clinical psychology.
This year there will be three $750 scholarships awarded through an endowment donation from Helen S. Randles, who was a firm believer in the importance of education and, in particular, the education preparation of individuals for service in health care.
Applications, which are due by April 18, can be obtained from the school guidance office, on line at www.unitedhelpers.org, or at the Society Office, 732 Ford St., Ogdensburg.
