Two people who went missing between Tupper Lake and Pierefield early Wednesday have been located and are in good health, according to state police.
Carl R. Burns Jr, 41, of Broad Street, and Angela I. Roberts, 23, of Park Street, both of Tupper Lake, have both been located.
Also found was a 1999 Jeep Cherokee reported stolen from the scene of a burglary on Lindsey Avenue in the village, which intersects Park and Broad streets.
Roberts was found by a passing motorist walking on Conifer Road in the town of Piercefield, St. Lawrence County, Thursday evening. She was taken to Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake where she was treated and then released, according to police.
New York State Police and New York State Forest Rangers conducted a ground and aerial search this morning and found the stolen Jeep in a remote area. An extended search found Burns in apparent good health.
Troopers say additional information will be released as it becomes available.
Police had earlier said they were also looking for a handgun taken in the Lindsey Avenue burglary.
