PARISHVILLE -- Two seats for five-year terms on the Parishville-Hopkinton Central Board of Education are up for grabs this year.
Those wishing to run can get a petition in the school superintendent’s office.
Petitions need to have at least 25 signatures from qualified voters to be considered valid.
Board member James Young has expressed interest in no longer keeping his seat, according to PHCS Superintendent William “Bill” Collins.
Collins said he was unsure of the intentions of the person holding the other board seat, Daniel Taylor.
Voters will decided on the two seats May 15 during the school budget vote.
