OSWEGATCHIE -- Two Ogdensburg residents were jailed for allgedly manufacturing meth Wednesday evening after state police and Child Protective Services (CPS) visited a home to check the welfare of a 9-year-old, according to state police
Troopers said they went to 498 McCormick Rd. and discovered ingredients used in the production of methamphetamine and a two liter soda bottle with methamphetamine inside of it.
Kara M. Besio, 33 and Brian D. Webb, 34, were each charged with third-degree manufacturing methamphetamine, felony, for having two or more precursors.
They were also charged with acting in a manner injurious to a child for having the child in a residence where meth was being produced, officers said.
Besio and Webb were both held on bail.
