Two Ogdensburg residents charged with manufacturing methamphetamine

OGDENSBURG – Two Ogdensburg residents have been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine at 1302 Ford St., room 2, according to the Ogdensburg Police Department.

Alonzo J. Ellison, 28, was charged with third-degree unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and unlawful possession of marijuana, officers said.

Ashley M. Williams, 20, was reportedly charged with third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine felony, and criminally possessing of a hypodermic instrument.

Thursday morning around 6:50 a.m. the Ogdensburg Police Department, including the departments K9 handler were reportedly called to assist New York State Parole Officers.

The Ogdensburg Police Department’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit responded to the scene and a search warrant for that room and a vehicle parked outside were obtained and executed.

A one pot style methamphetamine lab, along with numerous items, used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine was allegedly discovered.

The New York State Police CCERT (Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team) responded to the scene. Also assisting in the investigation, were members of the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force, including members of the St. Lawrence Sheriff’s Department and the New York State Police.
