WINTHROP – Two North Country brothers who recently graduated from college will pursue military careers.
Adam Edward Mattison recently graduated from the University of Rochester with a degree in international relations and a minor in German. He will leave in late August to serve aboard the USS Truxtun, a destroyer based in Norfolk, Virginia.
John Lee Mattison recently graduated from SUNY Canton in May with a degree in criminal justice. He leaves in early August for the Marine Corps Recruit Depot at Paris Island, South Carolina. He graduated from St. Lawrence Central School in 2010.
The Mattison brothers are the sons of Susan Wojakowski and the late Jack L. Mattison.
