OSWEGATCHIE -- Two men are jailed on marijuana felonies after allegedly being caught with 10 pounds of the plant during a traffic stop in Oswegathie.
Kwimity O. Kpor, 28, of Rochester and Radcliffe Mullings, 45, of Ontario, Canada are each charged with first-degree criminal possession of marijuana, troopers said.
Mullings is also facing a felony count of second-degree forgery. Troopers accuse him of possessing a fake Ontario driver's license.
U.S. Border Patrol in Ogdensburg stopped a 2005 Acura RL operated by Mullings on state Route 37 on Monda, troopers said.
A Border Patrol K9 alerted investigators to the marijuana in the trunk, according to troopers.
Both were arraigned in Oswegatchie Town Court and each remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, Canton, in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
