MASSENA -- Two village residents are facing felony charges after allegedly breaking into a home and stealing weapons, according to village police.

Thomas I. Borsellino, 28, of 180 Jefferson Ave., Massena is charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, all felonies. He is also charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

Kristen A. Daggett, 29, of 50 Perkins Road, Massena is charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny and petit larceny.

Police Chief Adam Love said the pair is accused of breaking into a home on Stoughton Street around 10 a.m. Wednesday.

They allegedly stole three long guns, collectable knives and swords and U.S. currency. The weapons have all been recovered, but the cash has not, Love said.

He added that one of the suspects knew the alleged victim.

Borsellino and Daggett are being held awaiting arraignment in Massena court in front of Justice Eric Gustafson, Love said.
