AKWESASNE -- St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police are reporting that they arrested two Massena men for allegedly burglarizing Not Another Damn Cigarette Store, state Route 37 earlier in the month.
Justin M. Cote, 19 and Eric Deshane, 20 are each charged with third-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief, both felonies, as well as possession of burglar tools two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, both misdemeanors.
Police said the two were caught in the act of burglarizing the tobacco shop at about 12:09 a.m. on Aug. 4.
Both were arraigned in Bombay Town Court and are to re-appear on Aug. 26.
