GOUVERNEUR — A Gouverneur man was jailed Monday morning on drunk driving charges following a personal-injury accident, according to state police.
Alexander R. Marcin, 22, was charged with first-offense DWI, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving while using a portable electronic device, moving from a lane unsafely and speeding, officers said.
He was ticketed at 1:30 a.m. at the police station, 1005 U.S. Highway 11, police said.
Marcin was ordered held on cash bail.
MACOMB — A Gouverneur man was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated following a property-damage accident on State Highway 58, according to state police.
Shawn J. Roberts, 54, was charged with aggravated DWI: No prior and failure to keep right at 5 p.m., troopers said.
He was cited and released.
