MASSENA -- Doctors Chris Brandy and Noah Zuker have joined the staff of the Massena Memorial Hospital.

They practice general surgery as members of Ogdensburg’s St. Lawrence Surgery group. In addition to their practice in Ogdensburg, they will open an office in Massena in July offering surgery, colonoscopy and endoscopy.

Brandy and Zuker, both certified by the American Board of Surgery, perform all aspects of general surgery including laproscopic hernia repair and colon surgery, laproscopic gall bladder removal, breast evaluation, biopsy and cancer removal, excision of suspicious skin lesions and pacemaker implantation.

"We have been impressed with the quality and dedication of the (MMH) nursing and ancillary staff,” Brandy said in an email. “Everyone seems eager to provide excellent care locally. The medical staff is also of high quality and dedicated to serving the local area with quality medical care. We look forward to joining this great team and making a positive contribution to the local area's health care."

Zuker, a native of Toronto, trained in New Mexico and completed an advanced laproscopic surgery fellowship in Paris, France before joining St. Lawrence Surgery. Brandy, born and raised in Ogdensburg, did his surgery training in Buffalo, and practiced in Massachusetts for 20 years before returning to the North Country.

They take appointments at 769-2611. Their new office will be at 181 Maple St.

They take all insurances. No referral is necessary.
