Two from Clarkson, one from Lake Placid charged with drug sales in Potsdam, held without bail

POTSDAM -- Two men with Clarkson University addresses and a third from Lake Placid have been arrested and charged with sale of a variety of illegal drugs after an investigation and grand jury indictments.

Arrested were:

• Michael C. Fruce, 20, Clarkson University, criminal sale of marihuana 3rd (three counts) and criminal sale of a controlled substance 5th , Adderall

• Andrew P. Miller, 20, Clarkson University, criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd (two counts), cocaine

• Daniel J. Hanczyk, 21, Lake Placid, criminal sale of a controlled substance 5th, Adderall

The three were arrested Wednesday morning on St. Lawrence County Court bench warrants resulting from grand jury indictments on the listed charges.

According to Potsdam police, the arrests were the result of multiple investigations conducted by county the Drug Task Force investigators from the Potsdam Police Department into the trafficking and sale of various drugs in the Potsdam area.

All three were arraigned before County Court Judge Richards and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility without bail.

The investigations are ongoing and more arrests are pending.
