CANTON -- St. Lawrence County sheriff deputies say Ogdensburg and Lisbon men were charged Monday with possessing narcotics in the county jail last week.
Marcus G. Bresett, 23, of Knox Street, Ogdensburg and Christopher L. Reynolds, 35, of Hardscrabble Road, Lisbon are each charged with single counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor, and first-degree promoting prison contraband, a felony.
Deputies said they had the unspecified drugs on Nov. 6.
They were arraigned in Canton Town Court. Bresett was released under probationary supervision. Reynolds was remanded in lieu of $2,000 bail or $4,000 bond, deputies said.
