OGDENSBURG – State police arrested two Akwesasne women at 3 p.m. Friday for allegedly attempting to cross the border with more than 10 pounds of marijuana.
Bridget M. Skidders, 34, Akwesasne, K6H 5R7, Ont., and Iaonhawinon, 21, of the same address, were charged with first-degree criminal possession of marijuana: 10 pounds, a class C felony, at U.S. Border Patrol at the Ogdensburg Port of Entry.
They were both ordered held pending further court action.
