OGDENSBURG -- State police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in a business burglary in Ogdensburg March 22.
Troopers have released a photograph from a security camera at Perry’s Place Redemption Center, 7211 State Rt. 68, showing what appears to be someone in a striped hoody.
Police said the suspect gained entry by picking a lock on the rear of the building. Once inside he took several cartons of cigarettes, chewing tobacco and over $200 in cash from the business between 2:30 and 3 a.m., according to troopers.
Anyone who has information about the identity of the pictured suspect is asked to call Investigator Jay Taylor at SP Canton at 379-0012. Calls may be made anonymously.
