POTSDAM -- State troopers say they have charged a Potsdam man with sexually abusing a child less than 11 years old.
Omar T. Harvin, 33, is charged with a felony count of first-degree sexual abuse and two misdemeanor counts of child endangerment, troopers said.
He was charged at 11:10 a.m. Wednesday stemming from an incident reported at 4 p.m. June 7 in Canton, troopers said.
He was released to a third party to await a future court appearance, troopers said.
