HERMON -- A Canton man was charged Tuesday with raping a child under the age of 11, according to state police.
Judson B. Foote, 54, was charged with first-degree rape: forcible compulsion, two counts of first-degree sexual abuse: contact with person under age 11 and first-degree criminal sex act: victim under age 11, all felonies, troopers said.
The incident was reported to state police Sept. 7.
Police did not say if Foote was arraigned.
