MASSENA -- State police seeking tips from the public to help them solve an armed robbery that took place in May at The Corner Store gas station at the intersection of state routes 37 and 37C.
Around 9:30 p.m. on May 29, an unidentified white male wearing dark-colored clothing entered the store, displayed a weapon and demanded cash.
The cashier refused and the suspect fled on foot, troopers said.
In a June 1 story published on NorthCountryNow.com, troopers said the weapon “appeared to be a handgun.”
They said at the time the suspect “was also observed to have acne or pock-mark scarring under his eyes and was carrying a black Adidas bag,” the June story reads.
Anyone with information is asked to call Massena-based state police at 769-7194.
