The St. Lawrence County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is once again offering triploid grass carp for people who wish to use them to control nuisance weeds in their ponds. Orders will be taken until May 6 with delivery June 3. A stocking permit is required from the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation. For more information or for an order form and a NYS DEC stocking permit application, phone 386-3582 or stop by the SWCD office at 1942 Old DeKalb Road, Canton, NY 13617.
