AKWESASNE -- Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police on Thursday reported charging three Franklin County residents with possessing more than one pound of marijuana on Jan. 17.
Lawrence W. LaPage and Trina S. Gardner, both 18, of Constable, and Dennis D. Mulverhill, 23, of Malone, are each charged with one felony count of second-degree criminal possession of marijuana. Mulverhill is also facing misdemeanors of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic instrument.
The arrest took place on state Route 37 at 2:43 p.m. on the 17th.
All were arraigned in Bombay Town Court and released under supervision of the Franklin County Probation Department, pending a future appearance.
