OGDENSBURG -- The new Tractor Supply Co. store will celebrate its grand opening Saturday with a ribbon-cutting at 9:30 a.m. hosted by Sandy Porter, executive director of the Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce.

Tammy Davis has been named manager of the store at 1051 Park St.

A native of Ontario, N.Y., Davis joined Tractor Supply Company in June as a manager-in-training at the Newark location. Prior to Tractor Supply, she spent 10 years working at Rite Aid in various positions, including store manager. Davis holds a master’s in accounting and finance, and a master’s in human resources.

“Tammy has a fantastic background and knows the products well, so we are thrilled to have her join our leadership team,” said District Manager Adam Hunter. “She has recruited a diverse and knowledgeable team of employees, which includes equine, welding, pets and farming specialists.”

In her new position, Davis will oversee all store operations, including receiving, inventory control and merchandising, as well as customer and team member relations.
