A winter weather advisory is in effect through 8 p.m. tonight as snowfall will be moderate to heavy at times in St. Lawrence County today, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches is possible today with another 3 to 5 inches overnight, the service says.

The high today will be 33 degrees with an overnight low around 27, NWS says.

Snow is likely before noon on Thursday with a high near 33, forecasters say. The high will be near 33.
