PARISHVILLE -- The Parishville Town Board has chosen a new logo to represent their town featuring the old bridge over the gorge, according to Town Clerk Connie Maquire.
"We chose it for its simplicity…the gorge it a landmark in Parishville that most people are familiar with," she said.
The cost of the design was $149 and was designed by North Shore Solutions of Clayton.
North Shore Solutions is also creating a new website for the town.
They have developed other logos for municipalities in St. Lawrence County and maintain a variety of municipal websites in St. Lawrence County including for the towns of Parishville, Hopkinton, Colton, Stockholm, Pierrepont and Norfolk. They also maintain websites for the villages of Heuvelton and Waddington as well as the town of Waddington.
Maguire said the town still needs to get a stamp with the logo on it which will be used for several reasons including for stamping Martin Podskoch’s book, “The Adirondack 102 Club: Your Passport and Guide to the North Country.”
