MASSENA -- The town will pursue a grant to pay for employee health incentives.
At Wednesday’s town board meeting, Town Clerk Pam Catanzarite said the village got $1,500 through the program.
She said it paid for a refrigerator and convection oven, which is supposed to encourage healthier eating.
“It’s an incentive to have a more healthy environment for your employees, like giving them 10 minutes … to get moving instead of sitting at their desks all day,” Catanzarite said.
