The fundraiser is in support of the village's role as host of the upcoming Bassmaster Elite Series tournament in August.
Only 3,000 tickets at $10 each will be sold, creating a potential top cash prize of $15,000. All proceeds will go to offset costs of the Bassmaster Elite Series Evan Williams Bourbon Showdown at the St. Lawrence River, in the St. Lawrence River at Waddington Aug. 8 - 11.
Some of the costs associated with the tournament events include bringing nationally known country singers Bucky Covington and Jason Michael Carroll to Whittaker Park for free concerts Aug. 9 and 10, respectively.
Raffle tickets are available at the Waddington Town and Village Offices, 46 Maple St.; River Run Fitness, 17 Bowling Court (off Rt. 37), Waddington; the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, 101 Main St., Canton; the Massena Chamber of Commerce, 16 Church St., Massena; Hosmer's Marina, 54 East River St., Ogdensburg; Dr. Dale Hosmer's office, 414 Jay St., Ogdensburg; and from members of the Northern NY Junior Bassmasters.
