POTSDAM -- Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s Center for Cancer Care’s Patient Navigation program recently received a donation of $1,093 from Today’s Hair and Day Spa, 36 Market St.
From October through December 2015 the salon hosted an event called "Shout out Loud for Breast Cancer," and during the event hosted two days of “Cuts for a Cause,” with all proceeds going to the Hospital Foundation.
Pink hair extensions were available and tickets were sold for a chance to win a free makeover, consisting of a haircut, color and highlights, makeup and manicure, finishing with a brunch. Tracy Haywood won the raffle.
“My team and I enjoy paying it forward and helping the community we live in,” said Shelly Murray, owner of Today’s Hair and Day Spa.
