POTSDAM – Time Warner Cable is closing its Potsdam office at 22½ Elm St. as of Jan. 25.
Time Warner spokeswoman Stephanie Salinger says management has met with the two affected employees and is offering them the chance to apply for positions elsewhere in the company.
Salinger said the company decided to close the office after an analysis showed that the office was being used primarily as a payment location, as opposed to a sales office, and that other payment options were available.
No other North Country offices are affected, Salinger said.
