POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce is conducting a “Five Lunches for $5” raffle.
Chamber board and committee members will sell raffle tickets for five dollars starting March 4.
“Five dollars could win three lucky people lunch at five different eateries,” said Executive Director Marylee Ballou. “Where else could you win a meal for a dollar a day for five days?”
Tickets also can be purchased with cash or check at the chamber office, 24 Market St.
Tickets will be sold until April 20.
The following businesses donated a certificate: 1844 House, Arby’s, Eben’s Hearth, Foxy Roxy’s, Jreck Subs, Maxfields, Ponderosa, Potsdam Food Co-op, Potsdam IGA, Spicy Iguana, St. Lawrence Valley Roasters/Jernabi Coffeehouse, Sugar Shack, Ton’s Sport Bar and The Village Diner.
The funds raised from ticket sales will support chamber-hosted events, including the three-day Potsdam Summer Festival.
“We have some new things in store this year at Summer Festival and hope to expand on Outer Market Mania, which was revived last year,” Ballou announced.
