POTSDAM -- One firefighter suffered minor injuries in a Wednesday blaze that destroyed a Potsdam home, Thursday at 7:11 p.m.
The home, owned by Asil Bice, was located at 6632 US Highway 11. Investigators believe the fire stemmed from an electrical issue.
Firefighters from West Potsdam, Potsdam, Canton, Morley, Pierrepont, Hannawa Falls and Madrid responded to the scene.
Madrid, Parishville and Waddington fire departments were on stand by.
The home was not insured, according to a release issued by St. Lawrence County Dispatch.
Firefighters returned to service at 11:41 p.m.
