POTSDAM -- Three Plattsburgh residents have been charged with stealing more than $40,000 in merchandise from Walmart stores.
Travynn L. Ippolito, 28, Brandy D. Young, 35, and Nina M. Duprey, were charged with two counts of conspiracy and two counts of third-degree grand larceny.
Deputies say the trio conspired and entered Potsdam Walmart where they stole $24,000 in electronic merchandise.
Deputies said they also stole from Malone and Massena stores, but charges are still pending in those thefts.
Deputies said they may have been involved in other thefts at the Plattsburgh and Ticonderoga Walmarts.
Deputies were assisted in their investigation by Massena, Plattsburg and state police. They were also aided by Clinton County Sheriff's Department, ICE Agency, Tacoma Washington Police Department and Auburn, Wash., Police Department.
All three subjects were arraigned in Potsdam.
Ippolito and Young were jailed on $15,000 cash or $30,000 bond.
Duprey was held on $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
Deputies said the investigation is ongoing.
