OSWEGATCHIE – The three people killed in Friday’s two-vehicle head-on crash on NYS Hwy. 37 were all from Jefferson County, according to state police.

State police said early this evening the victims included Albert C. Robinson, 62, Watertown, driver of the 2008 Chevrolet that drifted from the eastbound lane into the westbound lane, striking a 2012 Dodge.

The others killed included Georgia A. Robinson, 58, Watertown, his front seat passenger, and Kristine K. Bell, 51, Dexter, a rear passenger.

Police had declined to identify the three killed in the accident on Friday until after next of kin had been notified.

Dr. Samuel Livingstone determined that all three victims died from injuries due to blunt force trauma, police said.

St. Lawrence County Coroner R.B. Lawrence has ruled the manner of deaths as accidental, police added.

The Robinsons and Bell were pronounced dead at the scene shortly after police responded to the accident at about 9:45 a.m.

A fourth passenger was transported to Upstate Medical Center and was listed in critical condition late Friday afternoon, said police.

The driver of the Dodge was initially transported to Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg before being transported to Upstate Medical Center. The driver is listed as in stable condition, according to state police.
