CANTON -- Three people were reported hurt in two accidents about a mile and less than an hour apart on U.S. 11 south of the village of Canton Wednesday afternoon.
State police say two people were hurt when a vehicle driven by Connie J. Chase, 62, Hermon, and another driven by Corey M. LaSalle, 23, Utica, were in an accident near the Eddy Pyrites Road at about 1:45 p.m.
Shortly after 2 p.m., and about a mile away, vehicles driven by Arthur Couperus, 60, Ogdensburg, and Shirley May Coffey, 75, Pyrites, were in an accident on U.S. 11 near Rice Road. One person was reported hurt.
