ROSSIE – Three people who confronted a Rossie resident at his home earlier this month have been charged.

St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies have charged William E. Harris, Jr., 52, 875 S. Hammond Rd., Hammond, and Carl D. Burns, 47, Lafargeville, with second-degree burglary, third-degree menacing, and sixth-degree menacing. Harris was also charged with petit larceny.

Peggy S. Harris, 51, of the Hammond address, is accused of criminal trespass and second-degree harassment.

Deputies said the three went to a residence in Rossie May 19 and engaged in a confrontation with the homeowner.

All three were arraigned in Town of Macomb Court and released to supervision by probation authorities.
