CANTON – Men from Canton, Edwards and Potsdam were allegedly caught inside a Park Place house by Canton Police Sunday.
At about 6 p.m., police received a complaint of suspicious activity at 11 Park Place.
Responding officers located 19-year-old Jared C. Adner of Canton, 20-year-old Isaac Berk of Edwards, and 19-year-old Eian House of Potsdam inside the residence, according to police.
The officer’s investigation revealed that none of the individuals had the permission of the owner to be at the residence.
Each was charged with second-degree burglary, a Class C felony, and a misdemeanor charge of possession of a hypodermic instrument.
The three were arraigned before Town Justice Christopher Curley.
Berk was committed to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in lieu of $3,000 cash bail or $6,000 bond.
Adner was committed to the jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bond.
House was released to the supervision of probation facilities.
Canton police say they expect preliminary hearings will be held later this week to determine if they subjects will be held for grand jury action.
