Three arrested in Ogdensburg after police find heroin, methamphetamine, pot

OGDENSBURG – Three Ogdensburg residents were arrested Tuesday including two for drug possession after Ogdensburg police officers said they received a complaint for a welfare check of juveniles living at 801 Lake St.

At 12:20 p.m. police visited the residence and conducted interviews with occupants in the home. Police observed people in the home known to be wanted on unrelated warrants.

Patrick N. Regan Jr., 32, 801 Lake St., was charged on bench warrant from the Town of Oswegatchie and transported to Oswegatchie court for arraignment. He was also charged with first-degree criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Derrick J. Bush, 33, 1420 Jay St., was charged with a St. Lawrence County Court bench warrant and taken to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility awaiting arraignment.

Police applies for a search warrant through Ogdensburg City Court and at 3:48 p.m. the they executed a search warrant of the residence resulting in a third arrest.

Whitney D. Regan, 29, 801 Lake Street, was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance for heroin and crystal methamphetamine, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, first-degree criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia and fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana. She was held pending arraignment.

The Ogdensburg Police Department was assisted during the investigation and search by the Ogdensburg Police K-9 Unit and members of the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force.
