POTSDAM — Potsdam police said they charged three motorists following multiple property-damage accidents on Monday in the village.
• Amanda Karam, 26, Valley Cottage, 26, was cited for speed not reasonable or prudent on Leroy Street at 8:47 a.m. The charge came following an investigation of an accident at the intersection of Leroy and Clinton streets. No injuries were reported.
• Phillip J. Charleson, 63, Potsdam, was cited for failure to yield right-of-way while entering the roadway at 11:35 a.m. on Country Lane. He was charged following a two vehicle property-damage accident. No further details were provided.
• Margaret M. Sherman, 56, Potsdam, was cited for following too closely on Clarkson Avenue at 3:35 p.m. following a two vehicle property-damage accident.
All three subjects were cited and released.
