GOUVERNEUR – A testing site for bird pullorum, a disease in poultry, will be at the Gouverneur Fairgrounds FFA Building on Tuesday, July 13, from 2 to 6 p.m.
All birds shown at the fair have to have proof of coming from a pullorum-free flock or that they have been tested within 90 days of the fair show date.
If you are planning on showing birds at the county fair and they need testing, this will be the last public testing site. Janet Collier from state Ag and Markets will be on site for the testing.
