Following four-day stretch of record high temps in St. Lawrence County, temps not expected to hit 65 until Sunday, forecasters say

Cold air advection has begun as a cold front tracked through the North Country overnight which will bring back more seasonal temperatures through St. Lawrence County this weekend, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Following a four-day stretch of record high temps in the 80s and 90s in St. Lawrence County, forecasters say highs will be in the low 60s today.

A high of 62 is expected today with sunny skies, NWS says. An overnight low of 41 with mostly clear skies is likely.

The forecast for Friday and Saturday calls for a high of 60 each day with lows in the 40s, the service says.

Quiet and dry weather then continues to start the work week as high pressure moves back into the region and leads to a warming trend through the rest of the week, the service says.
