The National Weather Service says most of St. Lawrence County will see warmer-than-recent temperatures today, giving way to thermometers going above freezing Sunday. Ogdensburg and Star Lake stand a chance of snow.
Most of St. Lawrence County should see Saturday temperatures at 18-20 degrees, with Massena hitting a high of 13.
On Saturday night, Massena could see a low of 9 degrees, with thermometers reading a low of 18 in Canton. Ogdensburg is looking at a 30 percent chance of snowm, with a 20 percent chance in the Star Lake area.
Sunday brings a 40 percent chance of rain and snow to Ogdensburg, Gouverneur and Star Lake. Potsdam, Canton and Massena are facing 30 percent odds. Temperatures are predicted to hit a high of 37.
Sunday night brings a 60 percent chance of now to Massena, Potsdam and Star Lake. All other areas are looking at 40 to 50 percent odds. Temperatures are predicted at a low of 26 and a couple of degrees colder in the mountains.

This afternoon - Mostly cloudy, with a high near 18. Wind chill values as low as -11. East wind around 9 mph.
Tonight - A 30 percent chance of snow, mainly after 5 a.m. Cloudy, with a temperature rising to around 26 by 4 a.m. Breezy, with an east wind 8 to 13 mph becoming south 18 to 23 mph after midnight. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Sunday - A chance of snow before noon, then a chance of rain and snow showers between noon and 1 p.m., then a chance of rain and snow after 1 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 35. Breezy, with a south wind 11 to 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Sunday night - A chance of snow. Cloudy, with a low around 27. West wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Martin Luther King Day - A 40 percent chance of snow. Cloudy, with a high near 30. West wind 8 to 15 mph. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
